CM: Govt will support institutions for research work

Under new education Government will give priority to providing more and stronger support to colleges and professional institutions

PONDA: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that under the New Education Policy, the government will provide support for research in educational institutions. 

Speaking during the launch of the book ‘MODI@20: Dreams Meet Delivery’ at PES Pharmacy College, Farmagudi, he said that India is dreaming to become Vishwaguru and towards this various concepts are being adopted by the Government of India.

He further informed that Government has already taken a cabinet decision on the Research Foundation Policy. Under new education Government will give priority to providing more and stronger support to colleges and professional institutions for encouraging research work in their institutions. This will help the progress of education and the development of society. 

He further said that he took a lot of inspiration from the hard work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “During his tenure of 12 years as CM of Gujarat and eight years as PM, Modi took Gujarat and India on a path of development. He started various missions and ideas of progress starting from Clean India in 2014, Atmanirbhar Bharat, Skill India, Start-up India, etc and now New Education Policy,” he said.
