CM Pramod Sawant Inspects Mopa Circuit Ahead of F4 Indian Championship

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant on Thursday visited the racing circuit developed at Manohar International Airport, Mopa, to assess the preparedness for the upcoming F4 Indian Championship. The inspection comes as Goa gets ready to host the prestigious motorsport event for the first time at the new venue.

During his visit, the Chief Minister reviewed operational and logistical arrangements alongside senior government officials and representatives of Racing Promotions Private Limited (RPPL), the organisers of the championship. Dr. Sawant expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved so far and said the state is well on track to successfully conduct the two-day event scheduled for February 14 and 15, 2026.

Highlighting the importance of the championship, Dr. Sawant stated that hosting the F4 Indian Championship is a significant step towards establishing Goa as an emerging hub for international motorsports. He added that such events help diversify Goa’s tourism offerings, attracting visitors beyond its traditional leisure appeal.
