PANJIM: As a part of restructuring of the organisation, the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) on Thursday appointed another 10 presidents of the Block Congress Committees with immediate effect.
Last week, the party had announced presidents of nine Block Congress Committees taking the total number of new blocks constituted to 19.

The following are the new presidents of Block Congress Committees: Panjim — Joel Andrade; Cumbharjua — Vishal Volvoikar; Navelim — Conceicao Peixote; Sakhalim — Mangaldas Naik; Siolim — Parvati Mahadev Nagvekar; Sanguem — Jitendra Naik; Dabolim — Judas Anacleto de Souza (Cleto); Curtorim — Terancio Fernandes; Vasco — Ularico J Rodrigues and Velim — Lodovina (Veena) Cardozo. The first four presidents of Block Congress Committees have been retained while the remaining six block presidents have been replaced.
“The appointments of presidents of remaining Block Congress Committees will be announced in due course of time,” GCC Vice President (Organisation) M K Sheikh said.
