PANJIM: The Goa Police on Thursday promoted 81 police personnel of different ranks. While 10 assistant sub inspectors (ASIs) are promoted to the rank of police sub inspectors (PSIs), 24 head constables (HCs) are promoted as ASIs and 33 constables have been elevated to the rank of HCs.
The promotions are on ad-hoc basis. Besides, four HCs and 10 PCs, attached to the police training centre in Valpoi are elevated to the posts of ASIs and HCs, respectively.
