Debt-ridden Dhargalim man commits suicide

Mounting debts led a 39-year-old man to end his life in his house at Devulwado-Dhargalim on Friday.
According to reports, Sainath S Salgaonkar had recently purchased a second-hand bus and was plying the vehicle along the Mapusa-Mopa route.
The bus was not in a good condition and Sainath had incurred huge expenses to repair the vehicle. Unable to repay the money borrowed to repair the vehicle, Sainath is believed to have committed suicide by hanging himself in his house. Pernem police is investigating the case.
