Margao MLA Digambar Kamat has announced that he will hold the Jantadarbar at the Margao Municipal Council every alternate Tuesday, following a series of public grievance meetings conducted over the past few months.
Kamat said he has been regularly holding Jantadarbars at both the Margao Municipal Council and the Collectorate to hear grievances raised by residents. He said several issues brought before the municipality are now being addressed, with officers and staff taking action on the complaints.

According to Kamat, the number of people attending the Jantadarbar has gradually declined as civic issues are being resolved.
Kamat also said he has asked the Municipal Administrator to constitute a flying squad to monitor and check illegal activities within municipal areas.
