MARGAO: The anticipatory bail plea of the two accused in the assault of Karaoke DJ Ashwin Alvares came up for hearing on Friday, but the Court decided to postpone the hearings and the order on the case till Monday.
The accused, Freddy Menezes and Anthony Fernandes, are on police radar for assaulting the DJ and musician on Tuesday night at a restaurant at Colva.
Meanwhile, a video of one of the accused has surfaced on the social media, where he has been brought to the hospital bruised. The accused was assaulted by some men on May 7, 2017.
