MARGAO: Two alleged thieves, who attempted to commit theft in a closed house at Aquem-Margao, were apprehended by the public and later handed over to Margao Police.
Police disclosed their names as Mohamed Shaikh, aged 28, native of Gadag-Karnataka and Sanjay Shivaji Bane, aged 26, of Latur-Maharashtra .The duo was caught red-handed while they were inside the house.

Police said that based on a complaint, an offence under Section 457,380 and 511 read with 34 of IPC has been registered and lodged in police custody.
