ECI allows release of extra sugar
PANJIM, APRIL 30 The Election Commission of India has allowed the Government to release additional quantity of sugar for sale in the free market with the stipulation that no increase in the quantity of levy sugar being distributed through Public Distribution System per person nor any reduction in the retail price of sugar will be allowed during the period of Model Code of Conduct in force.
