VASCO: The youth of Goa fighting against environmental degradation received support from Miss United Nations, Dr Shyna Sunsara, who met the youth of State in Bogmalo, recently.
She appreciated the youth’s determination and resolve to fight for saving the environment.

In a press release, Captain Viriato Fernandes stated that while interacting with the youth for over an hour, Dr Shyna shared her experiences as an ardent environmentalist. She listened intently to the youth and how they have been taking efforts to spread the green message despite all odds.
The Miss United Nations 2018 explained how a few years back she along with a hand full of people started a drive to convert a dry patch of open space into a small forest in her home State. Dr Shyna stressed on the importance of sustainable development and the global fight to save the planet, more so from the danger of global warming.
The youth were accompanied by Fr Bolmax Perreira and Captain Viriato.
