MAPUSA: Former Goa AAP convenor Rahul Mhambre was issued court summons for defacing public properties by allegedly sticking posters during the 2022 Assembly election campaign.
The police issued summons to Mhambre directing him to appear before the Court on June 26 in connection with the alleged defacement of public properties.

“Such intimidatory tactics of the Goa government will not deter my resolve to speak and expose the BJP government. Instead of reigning on drug peddlers and land mafia who are destroying Goa, the government is focusing on his political opponents which is unfortunate for Goa,” said Mhambre.
It may be recalled that similar summons were issued to National Convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in April 2023 by the Goa Government which was later withdrawn.
