PANJIM: Falcon Taleigao marched into the semi-finals of 2nd London Cup defeating Elton Loutolim vie the tie-breaker 6-5 at river plate Siridao Sports Club ground, on Thursday.
At end of regulation time the score was 3-3 draw.
In the first half, Falcon took the lead through Sameer. Soon Ryan doubled the lead with a powerful shot.
Trailing with two goals, Elton boys mounted pressure on the rival citadel and in the bargain equalised with the efforts of Franky and Simon.
Changing over, both the teams tried their best to score the winning goal but failed as their strikes missed easy chances. In the tie-breaker, Falcon Taleigao had the last laugh.
