CANSAULIM: Three young lads – one each from Cansaulim, Arossim and Cuelim, will don the mantle of the three wise men Melchoir, Balthazar and Gasper and climb the 100-meter high mount, to commemorate the feast of the Epiphany at Nossa Senhora dos Remedios Chapel at Cuelim-Cansaulim at 10.30 am on Tuesday.
This year, the privilege to be one of the kings has gone to Lesdom Lelis Fernandes from Cansaulim, Cavell Bento Saldanha from Arossim and Stephen Wiron Baretto Xavier from Cuelim. The three boys selected are from the ‘vangodds’ of the indigenous Goans or Gaunkari clans from the village.
