PANJIM: Former Mayem Block Congress Committee secretary and three-time Mayem-Vaiguinim village panchayat member Issak Khan along with former Mayem sarpanch Anita Anand Naik joined Goa Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) in the presence of party leaders Pratibha Borkar and Priya Rathod at the party office in Panjim on Tuesday.
Following his induction into the party, Khan said the only credible alternative today is Goa TMC.

Calling TMC chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee as the symbol of women empowerment, Anita Naik stated that she was inspired by the TMC chairperson for her courage and determination to take the BJP head-on and added that she would like to follow in her footsteps.
