PANJIM: A retired engineer of the Public Works Department has reportedly gone missing from a rented house at Merces with local police trying to locate his whereabouts. A missing person’s report was registered taking cognizance of a complaint filed by Antonia Pereira that Kerala-native Mohammad Abdul Salam, who has been Pereira’s tenant for the past 10 years has been missing from the rented house at Merces since Wednesday. The 72-year-old was last seen wearing black trousers and white short-sleeved shirt.
Mega Lok Adalat in Ponda today
PANJIM: The Ponda Taluka legal services committee will organize a mega Lok Adalat in respect of cases under Section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act on November 8, from 10 am onwards in the court of senior civil judge and JMFC, Ponda before panel members consisting of the Chairman of Ponda Taluka Legal Services Committee Sandeep J Natekar, Advocate Nelson Soares and Seeta Kakodkar. Trek to Mainapee waterfall held
PANJIM: The Nature Trekkers Goa completed a one-day trek to Mainapee waterfall in Netravali village on November 2. The trek was organized by Vinod Vadgaokar and Manisha Gaonkar, Chaitali Naik and Vaibhavi Kalagutkar and Nature Trekkers President Sandeep Madwal. Around 46 trekking enthusiast took part in the one-day trek along with five officials of Nature Trekkers. Most trekkers were college students.

Cancer affected kids visit Big Foot
PANJIM: A group of 35 children from the cancer pediatric ward of Tata Memorial Hospital and their parents, who are on a tour to Goa, visited Ancestral Goa, Big Foot, Loutolim. They were given an insight into how man maintained an ecological balance and cohabited with nature. Karishma Alvares and the group engaged in a fun interaction. Despite their circumstances, all the children wore a smile.
