PANJIM: Four two-wheelers were set on fire in the capital city early on Sunday morning sparking off high alert on the eve of Chaturthi.
Panjim police said the vehicles were parked near Hotel Nova Goa in the heart of the city at the time the incident took place.
The Panjim town police received a call at around 4 am and rushed to the site where the bikes were extensively damaged.
A case has been filed against unknown miscreants under Section 435 of the IPC. Investigations are on.
