MARGAO: There was anger in Benaulim after a local died allegedly due to the negligence of GMC staff on Saturday.
Relatives of the deceased, Agnelo Fernandes, said he was hit by a buffalo in Benaulim due to which he started bleeding. He was transferred to GMC, by ambulance at 11 pm, and was allegedly left in the casualty ward till 4 am without attention.His family claims the GMC staff gave him an injection at 4 am, but by that time, a blood clot had formed, which led to his death.
