Out of 19 domestic trade shows, the Tourism officials recently attended two events at Kolkatta and Hyderabad. The rest are scheduled in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur, Surat and Ahmedabad till April 2017.
The international shows are scheduled at Jakarta, Moscow, London and Berlin.
“We have introduced a number of new activities, which has already attracted huge influx of tourists. A lot has been improved on the tourism front while we are also ensuring that tourists spend more and more days exploring all the facets of tourism,” a senior official told Herald.
Interestingly, Goa has been receiving increasing number of tourists during the off season too.
