PANJIM: Police have filed a case of forgery against one Siddharth Borkar, working as Network Database System Administrative (NDSA) at Department of Information Technology in Altinho, here.
According to the complaint filed by the Deputy Director (Administrative), Department of Information Technology, Vishant Gaunekar, the accused Siddharth created a forged signature of retired deputy director of Accounts on the salary certificate and fraudulently produced the same as genuine before the Bhandari Co-operative Credit Society Ltd in Panjim and obtained a loan of Rs 15,00,000.
The accused has been booked under Sections 465, 467, 468, 471 of IPC and further investigation is in progress.
