“The Governor delivered her address to the Goa Legislative Assembly on March 23, 2015, as scheduled, in accordance with the usual procedure. While reading the text, due to excessive sweating and standing for a long time for 50 minutes, she could not complete the last three paras of the speech,” the press note issued by the Directorate of Information and Publicity on Tuesday explained.
According to the official government media, the Governor, completed all the usual formalities, and also received the guard of honour presented to her, before leaving the Assembly complex.
