VASCO: Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai in his review visit to the Sub District Health Centre, Chicalim praised the medical staff providing good services to the patients, especially the hospital here offering free dialysis under various schemes, on Saturday.
Governor checked all wards and medical facilities provided at Chicalim Hospital. On learning that the dialysis here is done free under various schemes, Pillai appreciated it.

Later, interacting with the media persons, the Governor informed that his visit to the hospital was a part and parcel of his tour programme in connection with Raj Bhavan, which is meant for visiting various institutions such as children shelter homes, orphanages, hospitals etc.
He appreciated the services and efforts put up by the hospital staff and added that in his State of Kerala and other States patients are charged Rs1000 and more for dialysis treatment which have to be given multiple times in a week. But Chicalim Hospital giving this treatment for free under Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana will benefit patients.
Governor Pillai was welcomed by Chicalim Sub District Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Anil Umraskar, Dr Vivek Pillai and others.
