The Kadamba Transport Corporation Limited (KTCL) has started repair work on the damaged and waterlogged roads at the Panaji bus stand following public complaints and media reports.
Workers have begun filling potholes and levelling uneven stretches to improve the condition of the bus stand premises. The repair work is focused on addressing damaged sections that have become difficult to use, particularly after waterlogging.

Civil contractor Shivanand Borkar said the affected portions are being repaired with concrete rather than temporary mud filling. The move is aimed at providing a more durable solution to the damaged surfaces.
According to the contractor, the repair work started around four days ago and is expected to be completed within 15 days.
The repairs come after concerns were raised over the poor condition of the roads at the busy bus stand. The ongoing work is expected to improve movement for buses, passengers and other commuters using the facility.
