Launch of ‘Enabling Rural-preneurs towards Digital World’ – Phase 2

After a successful launch in North Goa in Pali, Bicholim, ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India) Goa State Development Council in association with DRDA (District Rural Development Agency) & GSRLM (Goa State Livelihood Mission) launched the Phase 2 of the ‘Enabling Rural-preneurs towards Digital World’ program from Loliem village Canacona, South Goa. 

The project is supported by Geno Foundation and VYGR media as its associated partner. The initiative was launched in an inaugural program at the Loliem Village Panchayat, Canacona in the gracious presence of Hon Speaker, Goa legislative Assembly & Canacona MLA Shri Ramesh Tawadkar and was attended by Smt. Deepali Naik, Project Director, DRDA Goa, Smt. Pallavi Salgaocar, ASSOCHAM  Goa State Development Council Empowerment Chair, Dr. Sucheta Naik, Principal, Shree Mallikarjun & Shri. Chetan Manju Desai College, Ms. Sonam Bhagat, Founder-CEO, Vygr Media and the Sarpanch of the Loliem Village Panchayat Nisha Chari and Dy Sarpanch.

Under the initiative, young digital-savvy Student volunteers will assist micro rural entrepreneurs to build their capacity and knowledge with an objective to enhance their digital literacy and skill development for micro and small Entrepreneurs. Shree. Mallikarjun College will act as the Institute partner for the project.
