MAPUSA: A house maid has complained to the Mapusa police that she was assaulted and molested at the residence of her employer by three persons.
According to Mapusa police, the crime occurred at an apartments at Canca on February 20 at 10.20 pm.
According to the complaint of the maid, her employer and his friends were chatting on February 20 at 10.20 pm, when all of a sudden an argument broke out among them which turned into a melee, in which they slapped, kicked and gave fist blows to the maid, thereby causing her injuries and outraging her modesty.
They also damaged household articles worth Rs 30,000.
Mapusa police have booked the accused under Sections 323, 427, 354 read with 34 of IPC.
Head Constable R K Gawas is investigating on the case.
Further investigation is in progress.
