Former Tourism Minister Mickky Pacheco was spotted in the Court of JMFC, Margao on Tuesday in connection with the divorce case.
His lawyer, Adv Srikant Naik informed that Pacheco was present in the court room since 2.30 pm, but neither Pacheco’s estranged wife Sara nor her lawyer were present in the court room till 4 pm. Finally, a junior lawyer appeared in the court and submitted before the judge that the lawyer is down with hypertension and hence could not attend the court.
The Judge later adjourned hearing of the case to February 14.
Adv Naik submitted before the court why his client was kept waiting for nearly two hours in the court if the opposite lawyer was down with hypertension.
