MARGAO: The newly-elected Velim MLA Cruz Silva of Aam Aadmi Party has arranged for site inspections of sports facilities in the constituency.

Silva stated that he visited the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs at Campal, recently. He added that the purpose of the visit was to do a thorough check on the status of all the projects of the Sports Authority of Goa across Velim.
“I met the higher-ups and fixed a date for an on-site visit by various officials,” the MLA said. Revamping and upgradation of sports facilities for the youth in the constituency is a major demand in Velim.
