BICHOLIM: Unknown persons on Monday robbed a woman from Mulgao-Bicholim of her mangalsutra.
According to the available information, the incident took place when one Gitanjali Gad from Gaonkarwada-Mulgao was on her way home at about 6 pm when some unknown persons came on the motorcycle and snatched her mangalsutra worth Rs 50,000.
The rider was wearing helmet while the pillion had his face covered with a scarf.
It may be recalled that similar incidents had occurred some months back at Bordem in Bicholim.
