PANJIM: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in Goa has accused Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar of interfering in the affairs of the State.
“Is the raksha mantri (Defence Minister) running the State? Parrikar is continuously interfering in the State administration to show that (Chief Minister Laxmikant) Parsekar is incapable of handling the chair,” NCP vice-president and spokesperson Trajano D’Mello said on Thursday.
Citing Parrikar’s recent meeting on the Medium of Instruction (MoI) issue with party MLAs, the Nationalist Congress Party  leader claimed that Parrikar has a word in every matter of Goa.
