PANJIM: BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanawade on Wednesday that there is no decision as yet on Ponda MLA Ravi Naik’s sons joining the saffron brigade.
On Tuesday there was speculation that the Ponda MLA’s sons would join the BJP. Addressing media persons, Tanawade said, “The party has not yet taken any decision in regards to this matter but as per reports in newspapers it seems like they wish to join the BJP”.

Tanawade said under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi everyone feels they want to join BJP.
He said that BJP is the future for anyone who wants to be in politics for a long term.
“Take example of Jyotiraditya Scindia in Madhya Pradesh who quit the Congress to join BJP. BJP is the future.” he said
Reacting to former Aldona BJP MLA Kiran Kandolkar meeting Goa Forward President Vijai Sardesai, Tanawade said, “This is a democracy and he can meet anyone.”
“I do not want to comment much on this issue. He is still a BJP member. He can meet anyone as this is a democracy.”
