PANJIM: While colleges are set to re-open for physical classes from September, the State government has no such immediate plans for schools.
Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that currently the government has not taken any decision on physical classes for school students. “We don’t want to take any risk. For now we have not taken any decision. There are no immediate plans,” Sawant said.
The State government has already withdrawn the restrictions imposed on colleges and has allowed Directorate of Higher Education to start physical classes for the current academic year, which commences from September 1, for second and third year degree students.
