PONDA: Ponda Police arrested Shailesh Naik from Banastari on the charges of allegedly cheating a Bicholim local to the tune of Rs 50,000.
According to victim Mohan Samanth, the accused promised him to give a government job and took Rs 50,000 in December 2018. However, till date, he neither provided the job nor returned his money.
Following this, Mohan filed a complaint against Shailesh at Ponda Police Station.
