PANJIM: Advocate Ajay Prabhugaonkar, who has been handling issues concerning labour and workers, joined Congress on Sunday, along with hundreds of supporters.
“Any political party can progress and give justice to the people only if its members are dedicated and committed. Loyalty and integrity is most important to strengthen a political party. I will work selflessly to ensure victory for Congress in Mayem in 2022,” he said.

Prabhugaonkar accused the BJP of rendering injustice to the labourers. GPCC president Girish Chodankar, in whose presence Prabhugaonkar joined the party, expressed confidence that the latter’s induction, will be a huge boost to Congress in Mayem and many mining areas.
