PANJIM: Panjim Hotel and Traders Association (PHATA) will hold a special meeting of hoteliers, traders and professionals on Thursday at Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry to discuss developments of the issues raised by the association with Corporation City of Panjim and the State government.
The special PHATA meeting will take stock of issues raised by the business community from Panjim with CCP for rollback of trade licence fee, garbage fee, sign board tax and house tax and seek suggestions to intensify the agitation till the demands, which includes stopping kiosks serving food illegally, are met.
The PHATA convenor said that the course of action will be finalised to redress the grievances for reduction and also discuss other issues for the smooth conduct of business without hindrance from CCP or any other authorities on the pretext of enforcement.
