MARGAO: Curtorim Congress MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco has urged the BJP government in Goa not to cheat Goans in the name of employment at Mopa Airport.
Reginaldo also questioned the survival of the airport and said the proposed cargo hub at Mopa will not be profitable.
He also questioned the plans on Mopa made by the Central Civil Aviation and Commerce & Industry Minister Suresh Prabhu, saying “He wants to make air cargo hub in Mopa and is it profitable business? Cargo, from where?”
He claimed that Goa does not require Mopa Airport.
and said he has been opposing it for a long time.
Reginaldo said the green port is a solution, if they plan to generate employment.
