VASCO: The Public Works Department (PWD) has handed over all files pertaining to the communication between them and the US-based CDM Smith Company to Chief Secretary on Friday, who would soon submit a report to Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the meeting held by Presidential candidate Ram Nath Kovind, PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said they had given the US company the contract to draw a master plan for sewerage system.
“After we read the news of bribery allegations, I had asked the department to submit the entire file to me within ten days. I have received the file and the same will also be handed over to chief secretary Dharmendra Sharma, who is also PWD secretary,” Dhavalikar said.
