MARGAO: Margao DySP Mohan Naik has recommended a reward for Margao PSI Melson Colaco and Cuncolim LIB constables Gajanan Bhavan and Rupesh Salarkar, who arrested Carlos Dias, 39, resident of Zrowaddo-Margao, wanted for offence under various sections of IPC on October 17 at 8.30 pm when he was moving around in a Wagon-R car GA-08-E-3068.
Accused Carlos along with his wife Leena were involved in robbery of two laptops, three mobiles and cash of Rs 12,000 at St John de Baptista church, Benaulim on May 13. Police have recovered one Samsung mobile, two laptops and one black burka.
During the course of the investigation it was revealed that the accused duo are involved in several criminal cases in Goa and proclamation has been issued against both accused. Leena has been remanded for 14 days judicial custody while Carlos has been remanded for 5 days police custody.
