VALPOI, JAN 22
A 28-year-old man from Damshe-Sattari died after the motorcycle he was riding rammed into the culvert at Guleli-Sattari on Thursday at about 2 am.
According to Valpoi police, the mishap occurred when Santosh V Gaonkar was returning home on his motorcycle (GA-04-A-3575). When the locals spotted Santosh at 8 am, he was rushed to Community Health Centre, Valpoi, where he was declared dead on admission.
Meanwhile, some locals believe that Santosh might have been returning home after attending the Kalo festival in the nearby village.
After conducting investigations, the body was sent to GMC in Bambolim for autopsy. Police is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Shivram Vaigankar.
