Local youth also raised the issue of a football ground, to which the acting sarpanch said the need would be attended to. Locals also demanded that the panchayat body should take up to trimming and cutting of bushes along the road . Turkhi promised to prune the roadside bushes to avoid hindrance to pedestrians.
Rumdamol urged to solve waste problem
MARGAO: The Rumdamol panchayat gram sabha on Sunday chaired by Acting Sarpanch Mamtaz Turkhi discussed the issue of garbage disposal with the chair asking the villagers to corporate in disposing garbage as village panchayat has not earmarked a site for garbage disposal.
