VASCO: The returning officer for Panchayat polls in Mormugao taluka, Satish Prabhu, on Friday informed that the taluka administratin has made elaborate arrangements for peaceful conduct of polls in two remaining wards of Sancoale Panchayat on Saturday.
The counting and results for all eleven wards of Sancole will be held on Sunday.
He said that eight candidates are in fray from wards 5 and 6.
Voting for ward 6 will be held at polling booth set up at Government primary School Sindolim, while for ward number 5 it will be at the booth set up at Bal Bhawan School Upasnagar.
“We have also made arrangement for proper security with deployment of policemen at both the polling booths,” Prabhu said.
