SBI holds consultative process

PANJIM: Department of Financial Services, Govt of India has designed a bottom-up consultative process to generate ideas for alignment of the working of Public Sector Banks with national priorities. 
The first stage of the process was conducted by all the regional offices of SBI recently by involving branches within their jurisdiction. In the second stage of this consultative process, a state level banker’s meeting was held collation and further fine-tuning ideas on 16 Key Performing Initiatives (KPIs) including infrastructure, agriculture, MSME, export & retail sectors, green economy, financial inclusion, digital economy etc. 
These suggestions and recommendations on alignment of banking sector with national priorities and the required enablers for moving India towards a $ 5 Trillion economy will be escalated in discussions/ideation at the national level.
