Seven Muslim leaders from Vasco were called to Dy Collector’s office, and placed under preventive arrest. They were later released on personal bonds. They were arrested based on apprehensions that they have links to the banned Popular Front of India, Deputy Collector Mormugao told media. The Muslim leaders denied that they were either linked to the PFI or participated in their activities.
