The two-time Panjim MLA also expressed his displeasure over the non-completion of projects under the Imagine Panjim Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) in the capital city.

“Command and Control Centre Project, a one of its kind project in the country which was initiated under the Panjim Smart City Mission has not been completed despite the availability of funds. CCTV camera project is pending. It is not even known if the Director of Smart City has been appointed,” said Kuncalienkar, who quit as Director of Panjim Smart City in April 2019.

Kuncalienkar said that projects such as underground cabling, modernisation of sub-stations, CCTV cameras, solid waste management, parking management, etc are still pending while, those who were alleging scam into the procurement of CCTV cameras at inflated prices were also unable to prove their charges.

Kuncalienkar was the vice-chairman of the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) when the bridge was built. Currently the bridge work is maintained by the GSIDC.
