SANGUEM: With six of the ten councillors of the Sanguem Municipal Council voting for the renovation of the Children’s Park, the town will soon have an upgraded play area and green spot for recreational purposes. The issue of the park’s renovation had been a long-pending one, with several councillors pushing for the park to be converted into a parking area, to resolve the traffic congestion issues being faced by the people of Sanguem. Four councillors had voted for a parking facility in the place of the park, located opposite Our Lady of Miracles Church.
