PANJIM: Having exhausted all their options of arm-twisting and pressurising the government to scrap the Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) backed GoaMiles app based taxi service, the taxi owners from across the State are organising a prayer service at the Shrine of Holy Cross in Bambolim on Monday, July 22 at 4 in the evening.
The invitation being circulated by the organisers requesting all the taxi owners and their families to attend the service, “Because you are precious breadwinner, your family always prays for your safety when you go out to serve tourists and alike. An uncertain future is looming on us and therefore everyone is invited to join the prayer.”
