MARGAO: Ashish Rodrigues, a 19-year-old youth who had gone to celebrate Sao Joao festival, along with his friends died due to drowning in a well on Friday afternoon at Dongri Navelim.
Police said that Rodrigues with his friends who were celebrating the festival jumped into a well but unfortunately did not know to swim and got drowned.

Fire tenders were called in and his body was retrieved and sent to the South Goa District hospital for post mortem.
