The people have the power and Herald will be their voice

The Herald has humbly been a voice of the aspirations and hopes of the people of Goa for years. As the people of Goa go through one of the darkest phases in Goa’s history, we still feel that it is only the people who have the power to overcome this. The Editorial Leadership in Herald decided to ask its mentor, Managing Director and Editor in Chief,
Raul Fernandes, to reflect on the role your paper would continue to play in these times.
He said, “The paper independently has no power. It is the people who have the power. They are the ones who can decide their future and they have the power to do so. Herald has been, is and will continue to be the voice of the people. It is the people’s power with Herald being their voice. It will continue to reflect, report and resonate the power of the people because Herald is their paper.”
