Calangute Police arrested three mobile snatchers and recovered six mobile phones and one laptop. The three accused were identified as 35-year-old Majidor Molla, a resident of Old Goa, 27-year-old Johrul Alam Mulla of Calangute and 22-year-old Saiful Alam Mandal a resident of Baga. All three are natives of West Bengal.
The trio were detained on suspicion and arrested under section 41 CrPC. The police informed that the accused admitted having committed the crime of mobile theft of a tourist in Calangute.

The police later recovered six mobile phones and an HP laptop all worth around Rs 1.5 lakh. Further investigation is on.
