MARGAO: In two separate incident of housing breaking at Margao city on the intervening night on March 13 and 14, unknown persons committed theft of goods worth Rs 1.52 lakh. Margao police have registered offence under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of IPC against unknown accused in both cases.
In the first incident reported by Ketan Bhanudas Raikar resident of Pajifond, Margao he complained that on March 13 between 8 pm and March 14 at 8.15, at Raikar Photo studio, Gandhi Market, Margao, unknown persons effected entry into the photo studio by breaking open main wooden door and committed theft of printer canon make, one camera of D-SLR Nikon make, one camera of Canon make and one trigger of professional camera all worth Rs 1.22 lakh A case under Sections 454, 457, 380 of IPC stands registered.

In the second incident complained has been filed by Sapna Naik, residing at Comba, Margao that between 7 pm on March 13 and 10 am on March 14 unknown persons theft of DVR worth RS 30,000 by breaking the latch of glass door of Vinray coaching centre, situated at Mabai Hotel Complex, Margao. Further investigation is being conducted by ASI Chandrakant G Velip.
