PERNEM: A Maharashtra registered passenger bus collided with a tipper truck at Malpe, Pernem on Wednesday.

Pernem police said that the incident took place at around 10.30 am when the passenger bus, while proceeding towards Kolhapur, collided with a tipper truck which was moving ahead.
Vandana Sawant (60) from Sawantwadi and Dattaram Arlekar (45) from Tuem suffered minor injuries in the incident. The injured persons were immediately taken to Community Health Centre at Tuem and later discharged.
