One of the accused Virendra Khanna also of Delhi is absconding.
According to Calangute police, the raid was carried out under supervision of Calangute Police Inspector Nilesh Rane, between 8.45 pm and 11.45 pm, near Calangute temple. The accused were caught red handed in Maruti Zen Estillo car bearing registration number GA-06-E-0429 with the victim girls who were brought for supply to prospective customers. The vehicle involved has been attached by the Calangute police while the victim girls have been lodged at Protective Home, Merces.
The raiding team included Subhash Malvankar, Vinod Naik, Suraj Khandekar, Shital Kinlekar, Pritiya Gawas and Sagar Khorjuvenkar.
